is the only head coach that the Eagles have ever known. He came to Colonial Forge from North Stafford HS in 1999. In 2013 – 2014, Coach Swink will be entering his 29th season coaching wrestling. His coaching career started at Connellsville Junior High West in Connellsville, Pennsylvania where he served as head coach for six seasons before moving to Virginia. Since moving to Virginia he has been the head coach at North Stafford and Osbourn Park and has served as an assistant at Stafford, C.D. Hylton, North Stafford, and Louisa County High Schools. He has amassed a head coaching record of 334-93-4 and has coached 14 state champions, 97 district champions, 128 state qualifiers, and 77 all-state wrestlers. His teams have captured 13 District Championships, 12 Region Championships and 4 State Championships and have finished as State Runners-up on 3 other occasions. Swink has been named Virginia Coach of the Year by the National Wrestling Coaches Association twice (2004 and 2007) and Region 3 Coach of the Year in 2007. He has also been named Virginia Man of the Year by Wrestling USA on two occasions in 1998 and 2006. Bill teaches business education and marketing at CFHS and resides in Spotsylvania with his wife Andrea and daughter Natalie.
begins his thirteenth year at Colonial Forge where he works as the assistant building engineer. He has a degree in Criminal Justice from West Liberty State College. Coach Black helped start the Colonial Forge Wrestling program and has been Swink’s right hand man since day one. He started his coaching career at C.D. Hylton during the 1997 season before moving over to North Stafford in 1998 and then to Colonial Forge in 1999. He has been named Virginia Assistant Coach of the Year by the National Wrestling Coaches Association 3 times (2002, 2003, and 2009) and Region 3 Assistant Coach of the Year twice (2003 and 2009). Mark resides in Fredericksburg with his wife Sarah and daughter Samantha.
is starting his ninth year at Colonial Forge after spending two seasons as an assistant wrestling coach at James Madison University. Chris competed for the Big Red of Cornell University, graduating in 2002 after a successful career wrestling for his father at Payson High School in Arizona. He was named Virginia Assistant Coach of the Year by the National Wrestling Coaches Association in 2010. Coach Pirch formerly taught math at Colonial Forge and resides in Fredericksburg with his wife Katie and daughters Addy and Emory.
joined the Eagles in 2006 after a successful head coaching position at Rodney Thompson Middle School, where he led the Jaguars to four county championships in five seasons. Jon has led the Blue and Junior Varsity teams for us here at Colonial Forge. Coach Barr, his wife Annie and their son Jackson live in King George and both are teachers in Stafford County.
is a 2003 graduate of Colonial Forge were he earned All-State honors as a senior wrestling at 189 pounds for the Eagles. Evan attended Coastal Carolina where he earned a degree in marine science and biology. Coach Stribling returned to The Forge in 2007 as a teacher and wrestling coach. He resides in Stafford with his wife Elizabeth.
returns for his third season; he comes to Colonial Forge from Canandaigua Academy in New York were he served as the assistant coach for the past 10 seasons and were he earned the National Wrestling Coaches Associations New York Assistant Coach of the Year honors in 2008. He is currently teaching Physical Education at Colonial Forge. Dale had a very successful international wrestling career earning a spot on the United States World Team in 1985 after a successful career at Appalachian State University. Dale has also excelled in the international coaching ranks serving as one of the coaches at the 2005 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary and has been a member of the National Coaching Staff for USA Wrestling since 2002. Dale resides in Stafford with his wife Kiki, son Kyle, and daughter Wibecka. Dale previously served as a World Team Coach of the USAW Greco-Roman National Team (2005). Oliver has coached a number of U.S. teams on international tours in recent years. He coached top Senior-level athletes at the 2004 U.S. Olympic Training Camp, as well as the U.S. World Team Training Camps. He has extensive high school and college coaching experience. He coached two seasons as an assistant coach at Appalachian State Univ., over six years as an assistant coach at SUNY-Albany and five years as an assistant coach at SUNY-Brockport. He has over 15 years of experience coaching at the high school and junior high levels. He was employed as a teacher at the Marion Central School district , and served as Marion High School wrestling coach for six years. Oliver is the club coach for Team Titan, teaching international-style wrestling to athletes in his community. He also does private coaching, and has been a frequent clinician at wrestling camps. As an athlete, Oliver was a member of the 1985 U.S. World Team which competed in Kolbatn, Norway, and was the runner-up in the 1988 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. He won the 1988 Final Olympic Qualifier, which placed him in the final series of the 1988 Olympic Trials. He placed 11 times at Senior National Greco-Roman tournaments, including an AAU National title. Oliver also has a number of place finishes at international competitions in Europe . Oliver competed in college for Monroe Community College , then on the Div. I level for Appalachian State University.
returns for his fourth year on the Forge coaching staff after a very successful run as head coach at C.D. Hylton were his teams won two Cardinal District Championships (2006 and 2008) and compiled a record of 176-72 during his eight years at the helm. P.J. was a three year starter at Virginia Tech and was a 3x VHSL AAA State Place winner. Coach Pcsolinski resides in Stafford and teaches physical education at Hugh Mercer Elementary School in Fredericksburg.
starts his first year on the Forge coaching staff after competing as a student-athlete at the University of Maryland and Boston University. Ian graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from U of Maryland in May of 2013. Ian is also a Colonial Forge HS graduate (2009), winning a State championship at 135 pounds his senior year. Ian was a 4X District Champ, a 4X Region Champ and a 4X place winner and 2X state finalist at the State Championships.

Coach P was one of the founders of the Colonial Forge wrestling team. He was a 1994 graduate of Wall Township High School, Wall Township, N.J., and a 1998 graduate of Lycoming College, Williamsport, Pa with a bachelor of art degree in art. He was the head of the art department, wrestling coach, sponsor of the National Art Honor Society and co-sponsor, of the Molten Art Literary Magazine at Colonial Forge High School. He was a USA wrestling bronze-level coach, a Team Virginia National team coach, and women’s director for Virginia – USA wrestling.
